What should be considered when choosing a smart plug?

1. Size Standards

There are five standards for the smart plug, before ordering the plug, please first confirm your country is fit for which standard.

2. Maximun Current
At present, our standard max current is 10A and some models can do 13A. 10A is enough for most of electrical appliances. But for some special devices, which may need large current, please be sure what Max current you need before ordering.

 

3. Reliability
The main problem with smart plugs is that they may drop the WiFi signal from time to time and need to be reset. Luckily, this is typically a quick and easy process. When searching for a smart plug, look for a reliable model that experiences fewer drops.

4. App quality
A great deal of the smart plug's functionality depends on the quality of the accompanying app. Our plug is used in Smart Life app, which is a stable app and widely used in all over the world. Look for a model that comes with an app that has all the features you desire, such as an away mode, energy monitoring, scheduling, and scenes.

5. USB ports
If you have any USB devices that you want to control with your smart plug, look for a model with USB ports.
