What is the difference between EC Fan and 3 Speed Fan
The difference between EC Fan and 3 Speed Fan:
EC Fan
EC fans are fans with an EC motor. An EC motor requires a control signal that specifies the requested fan speed. This control signal can be digital (Modbus RTU communication) or analog (typically 0-10 Volt). The control signal can be generated manually via a control switch (in steps) or via a potentiometer (stepless). It can also be generated by an HVAC sensor or an HVAC controller for demand-based fan speed control.
3 Speed Fan
A three-speed ceiling fan has a low, medium and high speed, usually with a pull chain to change it back and forth between the settings. This means that you have to get up every time you want to switch to another speed.
Our hot-selling product HTW-WF11-FC include 3-speed fan and EC fan models.
HTW-WF11-FC-ECN series Modbus fan coil thermostat is designed with EC Fan + 1 cool valve + 1 heat valve + external sensor + keycard + modbus communication functions, it is widely used in these environment like Homes, Residential buildings, School, Hotels, Hospitals, Offices and etc. To main an ideal room temperature purpose.
HTW-WF11-FC-2/4 series fan coil thermostat is design to control fan coil unit system, by switching on/ off on 3 fan speed + Heating/ Cooling valve.
